BYU's execution, in all areas of the game, propelled the Cougars to a 23-17 victory over the athletic and explosive Washington Huskies.
The exciting week just continues in Provo, as this morning at Riverside Country Club, most of BYU's eight All-America QBs gathered as part of a fund-raising effort that will endow QB scholarships at BYU and help to build a statue of LaVell Edwards to sit outside the stadium that bears his name.
This week's opening game versus Washington will be watched closely by Sikahemas on both coasts. That's because Vai's nephew has committed to play for the Huskies.

What a great day and night Wednesday on the BYU campus. For me, the day began with coverage of BYU's Football independence and WCC affiliation/ESPN-Notre Dame agreements. 
As ESPN VP of Programming Dave Brown put it, "it's a great day...to be back in business with BYU."
